Xpace Cultural Centre has an upcoming Submissions deadline on October 25, 2013. We will be programming for the Window Space and the External Space (located on OCADU campus) ONLY.
We will be holding a Proposal Workshop on Saturday, October 12th from 1- 4pm at Xpace Cultural Centre for help with the planning and writing of your project proposal. You can download a PDF application from our website here:
www.xpace.info/submit
Bring in your project proposals (completed or partial) and we can give you feedback! It is also a great idea to check out the spaces themselves so you have a better idea of where your project would potentially work the best. (Also keep in mind that our gallery spaces have changed as we moved to 2-303 Lansdowne Ave at the beginning of 2013. If you haven’t been by, it would be a good idea to see the new spaces before proposing a site specific project.)
Toronto artist/curator Jennifer Siamatis will be joining the Xpace staff to talk about her experiences in applying to calls for submissions, putting out calls for submissions, and what she looks for in proposals.
The workshop is free and open to anyone, but please RSVP to alicia@xpace.info to reserve your spot.
