A series of 3D animations examining the past and future of the Queenston Quarry – an abandoned limestone quarry on the Niagara escarpment that will be redeveloped in coming years into a residential and leisure area. Through the lens of a playful narrative involving theoretical buildings, nature renderings, and a floating abstract form, the series questions the interrelation of nature and architecture, the campiness of resort and condominium aesthetics, and the cultural narrative of the place’s future.
