Carson Van Vliet

September 2, 2022 - October 15, 2022

Essay by Alexander Rondeau

Creating a world filled with pattern, bright colours and texture Carson plays with and explores the traditional iconography of the quilt. Taking inspiration from artists such as Miriam Schapiro and the Gee’s Bend Quilters he plays with this formula of creating quilt patterns and applying it to a host of mediums.
