LAUNCH PROJECT

Seecoy’s Superman II point 0 is a visual pun on the current obsession with (and eventual obsolecense) of the “web 2.0”. Riffing visually off of a very particular scene in the film Superman II he has re-imagined it using online photo sharing solution, PictureTrail. Through this we see the delivery on promises made by earlier cinematic convention.

C. Coy (www.seecoy.com) is an artist and internet surfer. He has shown work at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, Sundance Film Festival, Netherlands Media Art Institute and numerous international art festivals and exhibitions.
