Facilitator Bio:
Ryan is one of the founding partners of Aura LLP; a real estate, entertainment, and commercial law firm located in downtown Toronto. Ryan has a specialized real estate practice in co-ownership law, landlord and tenant law and commercial real estate law. He is a highly sought-after lawyer for those buying or selling commercial or residential property where multiple parties are involved, and for representation at Ontario’s Landlord and Tenant Board of Ontario. He has argued motions at the Superior Court of Justice on procedural issues related to the Residential Tenancies Act. He also frequently provides advice to those in co-living arrangements and he dedicates a portion of his practice to negotiating live/work space lease agreements for musicians and artists.

Prior to founding Aura LLP and during law school, Ryan was part of Osgoode Hall’s specialized program at Parkdale’s Community Legal Clinic. While there, Ryan represented precariously housed and financially marginalized individuals on eviction hearings at the Landlord and Tenant Board of Ontario.
