Xpace’s annual Exhibition Proposal Writing Workshop is intended to help with the planning and writing of your project proposal. Xpace staff will speak about our experiences in applying to calls for submissions, putting out calls for submissions, and what we look for in a great proposal. We will discuss tips on writing artist statements, project descriptions, and how to best represent your work through documentation and file organization.

Our special guest for this workshop will be artist Karina Iskandarsjah.

Karina Iskandarsjah is a visual artist and curator whose work explores hybridity, and the experience of geographically displaced individuals. Karina is currently a Programming & Outreach Assistant at Trinity Square Video, and part of the collective that operates Glory Hole Gallery for 2SLGBTQ+ artists..
