Tick-Tock it’s Grant’O Clock!

The Student Union and Xpace Cultural Centre are teaming up to host a grant proposal writing workshop for students! The goal of this workshop is to help to familiarize you with the proposal writing process in order help prepare you for OCADSU’s Project Grants application (due Nov 17th), as well as the Xpace Open Call for Exhibitions which happens every spring!

In this workshop, we will talk about our experiences in applying to calls for submissions, putting out calls for submissions, and what we look for in a great proposal.

We will discuss tips on writing artist statements, project descriptions, and how to best represent your ideas and work through documentation and file organization. Bring in your project proposals (completed or partial) for one-on-one feedback!

This workshop is free to attend. Please email Lizz Aston, Director of Operations at operations@ocadsu.org to RSVP and let us know you are coming!
